A traditional wedding is a celebration for everybody. An elopement is just for the two of you. And for tattoo loving couples, getting married in a tattoo studio could be the right amount of quirky. Nothing says forever like some permanent ink, right?

$3,300 for 2 hours
What you get:

A unique wedding venue: Holdfast Tattoo in East Victoria Park (after hours) for the ceremony and flash tattoo

Basic Tattoo Terms
FULL TATTOOIST TERMS AND CONDITIONS WILL BE PROVIDED BEFORE BOOKING

Choice of tattoos will come from a wedding themed Special Edition Holdfast Elopement flash sheet

Couples will need to sign the appropriate consultation paperwork and consent form prior to the flash tattoos commencing

In addition to the regular consent form, additional care needs to be considered with the couple’s outfits and the unlikely, but still possible, chance that pigment or stencil product may come in contact with clothing.
FAQ's
What’s your booking process?
Once you’re happy to go ahead, we ask for a $500 non-refundable booking fee to secure the date. The remaining balance will be due before the elopement.
Who do I pay?
To make things easy for you, there will be one payment (split into non-refundable booking fee, and two instalments).
When do we need to sign the paperwork?
Your Notice of Intended Marriage (NOIM) must be completed with the celebrant at least one month prior to the ceremony day.
Can we bring some friends or family?
To make sure you've got a comfortable amount of space in the venue, you can bring up to 8 guests with you. You can always meet more friends and family at the local pub afterwards (two doors down)
What if we don't want to invite guests?
No problem! You will need two legal witnesses, but Kat (the photographer) and the Tattooist can do this for you!
Are you LGBTQIA+ friendly?
Of course we do! All inclusive here. Love is love.
Can we do it any day or time?
We've set aside Monday and Sunday so you have exclusive use of the tattoo parlour. We can discuss the perfect start time.
When will we take photos? When will we get the tattoos?
We suggest you begin your two hour session with portraits, followed by the ceremony and then the flash tattoos. You can then end it at one of the many local eateries or pubs in walking distance.
Do we have to get the tattoos on the day?
If you’re concerned about doing it all in one day, you’re welcome to book in a separate session for your tattoos on another day. It will be subject to the availability at Holdfast.
What do we wear?
Wear whatever you like, HOWEVER, please be aware that although all care is taken during a tattoo procedure, there is still always the small possibility that pigment or stencil product may come into contact with your clothes. It is very unlikely that this would happen, but in the case that an accident did happen, especially given the fancy attire you may be wearing, we want to acknowledge that Eddie Couto, Kat Wray and Holdfast Tattoo Studio would not be held liable for any cleaning/drycleaning as a result of this. Also be aware that the pigment may also bleed out from under the covering after you leave the store and great care should be taken to ensure it does not get on your clothes.
You may choose to have a special outfit that you wear for the ceremony and photos, and then a separate outfit to wear while getting your tattoos.
Can you arrange other things for the day?
There happens to be a florist right next door - Greenbunch so get in touch if you'd like a stress free bouquet or button hole waiting for you! If you would like drinks or food we recommend heading to a nearby bar or restaurant afterwards! If there's anything else you need hit us up for recommendations.
Can you arrange livestreaming?
Whilst this isn't part of the package, I know some great Perth livestreaming videographers who do an amazing and professional job. Hit me up for their details!
Do we need to have a rehearsal?
Elopements are usually pretty relaxed, so a rehearsal isn't necessary.
How soon do we get our photos?
You will receive a few sneak peek photos within a few days so you can share your elopement with family and friends. The rest of the gallery will be available within eight weeks.
